Ladies, the best way to have the perfect wedding, is to stop expecting it to be perfect! I know, I know, I am crazy! Let me tell you this, no matter how many hours you spending on the most intricate details, it will never go as planned.  I have a list of things that I have done to help me get through the process as happy and painless as possible!

Lower your standards

You have already done the hard part, finding the perfect man! Why kill yourself trying to make one day huge and ridiculous? Do what works for your budget and most importantly as a couple. I know the feeling of finding an amazing reception spot, and they demand our first born child. In the end, I found exactly what I wanted for less than a pretty penny! 

OURS

Get used to it. It's not "my" day it's "OUR" day. I won't make a single wedding plan unless I show my Graham first. Sure, Graham may not know the difference between plumb and eggplant, but I always try to include him. I will be including him in choices for the rest of my life. Sure, wedding planning may not be his forte, but his opinion matters too! One thing I do know, is that men love FOOD and sweet deal! Keep that in mind...

Don't let it consume your life

The first thing people said to me was, "Crissy, planing a wedding is hell!" I have enjoyed every minute of planning mine! Why, because I don't make it my second job or chore! I work around my budget and hiccups and move forward. I find unique ways to accomplish what I want, without breaking the bank and loosing my mind! 

The "So and So" complex

Yes, so and so did have that at their wedding! They sure did, along with 134,972,017,578,628,734 other couples. The only unique thing about a wedding, is the couple. That's right, I did just burst your bubble. You will never, ever, EVER have a genuine "unique" wedding! So, stop killing yourself over it! 

Remember what is important

There is a difference between a wedding and a marriage! What is important is the Marriage! Whether you are getting sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, or having a small ceremony in a tiny chapel. The most important part is the binding of two souls. So as long as your marriage lasts longer than 72 days, you are in good shape! (;

So guess what? Graham and I FINALLY and I mean FINALLY picked a song. Turns out when Graham likes RHCP and I dig Sinatra, it can become next to impossible to pick a song the who of us love.

We searched our iphones, ipods, computers, yada, yada, yad!!

Come to find, we both had the same song in mind and were too embarrassed to mention it. LAME! We love the song, and it has a very special place in our hearts. I blush when I hear it. What's the name of the song you ask? Sorrybutyouhavetowait! (:

I am sooooooo excited. Not bad for a few ours of nothing! 

I could not be more happy that all the work I did on Youtube for Dad is really going to start paying off! 

I have dreaded the search for a DJ/Entertainment. That has been the WORST part of the whole planning process. So I finally got the cajonas to search for one. Behold, I found one I was interested in. It had a great price and great testimonials. I was THRILLED. To brighten my day even more, I take a close look at the MC and, you guessed it, it was Mr. Kimball! Needless to say, it made it even more perfect! My mind is set, and best of all, he is available on my day! Yay? Here is a link to check him out.

Apparently, I am the official "American Beauty" of my ward family! (This has NOTHING to do with my looks) I do however, love to make video's of ANYTHING. So when I was asked to make a video on "Gratitude" for Relief Rociety, I thought, Whah? How will I do this? So, I searched "Gratitude LDS" and behold a clip of Thomas S. Monson popped up! Surprise, right?  It was PERFECT! So, I downloaded it. Along with many other amazing clips to accompany it, the end result was the video below. Mom didn't believe I edited it because it came out so nice. That was until I showed here the insane amount of video editing on my movie maker. Lets just say, she was thoroughly convince. I know, I know, I did not go out with a camera and film every single clip. However, picture within a picture is no picnic! I am happy with how it turned out! (:

P.S. I just had to edit in the "Mormon Messages" part at the end. I love the endings of those clips! It meshed so perfectly! (:
